Biography

My story starts in Nevada where I grew up, went to school, found my sweetheart Josh and started our family of 6 boys.  I received my degree in Secondary Education specializing in Social Sciences but I chose to stay home with my children.  I taught preschool out of my home throughout the years and that helped me with keeping up with my teaching skills.  We have lived all over the US- Arizona, California, Indiana and we have now called Utah home for the last 4 years.

 I love being outdoors, hiking and enjoying all the beauty that surrounds us.  My family and I have been to 37 states in our big 12 passenger van.  I love visiting historical sites and being grateful for the Country we are blessed to live in.

I also enjoy celebrating and looking for ways to brighten the lives of others.

 I feel so blessed to have found Mountainville Academy not only for my children but for myself as well.  I love the 7 Habits and incorporating those principles into the students' character- guiding them in how to be amazing leaders now and in the future.  Teaching our Middle School students history has been an awesome opportunity and I love what I do!
