Kindergarten (Burnett)

I love working with kids, and am partway through a degree in Early Childhood Education at BYU; I’ve worked as a preschool teacher for two years and I aim to one day be a kindergarten teacher, so I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of faculty, staff, and families. I consider myself successful when I’m doing a job well done, and I intend to help all of our students create their own successes, both in and out of academics.

I grew up in New Mexico and moved with my family to Utah during my junior year of high school. I love music, reading (especially fantasy), Disney, and learning in general; many a random question has led to “consulting the Google” and trawling through Wikipedia. I also love using my creativity and thinking outside of the box, although sometimes I end up blowing up the box and playing with the pieces instead. I have, over the years, also learned to put the box back together when needed, although I try to slip in a few tweaks where I can. Weird boxes are way more fun to be in, after all.
