Biography

I am excited for this year at to Mountainville Academy Fourth This is my fourth year teaching, and second year at Mountainville. I spent two years teaching math in the 6th grade at a middle school and am so excited to continue working with the fourth graders. I believe that every student can succeed, and will, as we work together!

I grew up in the Highland and Alpine area, and am so glad to be here to teach. I graduated with my associates degree in 2015 from Utah Valley University. I took an 18 month break from school and then continued my education at BYU Idaho until I got married to my husband in 2018, after which I moved back to Utah. I have spent several years as a private tutor and substitute teacher, while also completing my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education at Utah Valley University in 2020. 

Outside of teaching I love spending time with my husband and our two young kids. I enjoy arts and crafts and taking on new challenges with different art mediums. I love the outdoors and the time I get to spend in it with my family. I am so excited to grow with the Mountainville Academy family as I work with students and get to bring my own children to school.
