Biography

Hello, I’m Ms. Anna Burnett (Ms. B to the kids), and I am the new PE teacher! I am so excited for this year and for the opportunity to get to know each one of your kids. This year in PE, we will be exploring lots of different sports and ways to move our bodies. We’ll be learning new motor skills and discovering how movement can also help our brains!

I was a 2nd grade Instructor last year and have also worked as a Paraprofessional. After graduating high school, I moved to St. George and attended Dixie State University, where I graduated with my Associate’s degree in Business. I then attended Taylor Andrews Academy, where I earned my Master’s in Esthetics. I lived in St. George and loved the warm weather for 9 years before moving back to American Fork.

I come from an amazing legacy of teachers. Mr. Burnett, a retired teacher, and Mrs. Burnett, a Reading Specialist, both here at Mountainville. I am the youngest of four and am blessed to be called “Aunt” by 10 wonderful kiddos!

When I’m not spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, baking, and taking my paddleboard out. I am also a huge hockey fan and am hoping to catch some Utah Mammoth games this year!

I am so excited to continue my time here at Mountainville in this new role and can’t wait for a fun year in PE! Go Lions!
