Biography

I am looking forward to my first year at Mountainville Academy. Living in Alpine, I often drive by the school and have admired what I see and the people I have met who have some connection with the school.

I have been in education for 25 years both at elementary and middle school ages. I was raised in Riverton Utah, ( I am a proud brother to the current Riverton mayor, my sister Tish.) Along with my sister I have five brothers. We grew up in a great small town with many opportunities to roam free, explore, work, and play ball. Little league baseball was especially fun and important. 

When looking for a place to settle and raise a family, my wife and I discovered Alpine and feel fortunate to have been able to live here for the past 28 years. I look forward to enjoying an even greater community connection with my time here at Mountainville as a teacher. 

I love being a grandfather and spend as much time as I possibly can with my grandchildren. I have four children and 14 grandchildren and they are my main hobbies. I play golf when possible and read.
