Biography

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching career in Southern California, first as a sixth-grade teacher and later as a middle school math teacher. It was during those years that my love of teaching mathematics really grew, inspiring me to continue my education and deepen my expertise. I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education and have continued to seek opportunities to grow as both an educator and a math specialist.

I have loved being part of the Mountainville community for the past 13 years and especially value its warm, welcoming environment where every child can learn and thrive. I believe learning is a lifelong journey and enjoy helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of mathematics. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and taking advantage of Utah’s beautiful mountains and outdoor activities.
