Hi! My name is Kristen Barnes! I was born in Southern California and lived there until I was 11. I return every year and feel like it is still my home the minute I breathe in that California air, and my dream is to have 3 palm trees and the ocean in my backyard. I love reading, hiking, watching movies, eating cheese fries, and going on adventures with my fam! I LOVE taking pictures & making scrapbooks - I have always treasured photos - they are frozen memories!
My amazing husband and I just celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary. We have 4 incredible children - all now married - who attended & also worked at Mountainville Academy. MVA is their second home! I have 2 grandbaby girls as well as another grandbaby on the way - YAY!
I absolutely LOVE welcoming new families, organizing student events & celebrations, & working with my leadership actions teams! I am so happy to have the opportunity to get to know every student here at Mountainville Academy!
