Biography

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education in April. In my free time, I love watching sports, spending time with my family, and listening to music. I am from the south, so sports run through my veins, especially Georgia Bulldog Football. I also love to sing and sometimes dance, even though I'm not very good at dancing. 

I have always dreamed of being a teacher. I never thought 4th grade would be in my cards, but the universe had other ideas. I ultimately decided I wanted to be a teacher because of the wonderful teachers I had growing up. They always made me feel seen, heard, and pushed me to be the best version of myself. This is my ultimate goal as a teacher: to allow the students to shine in their own way. I love working with kids and helping them see that they get to decide what their future holds! As you saw, I just recently graduated in April, so this will be my first year teaching, and I am so excited to start my career at Mountainville Academy with your students.
