Biography

I grew up exploring the trails and canyons of Utah and consider myself a mountain girl through and through. Teaching in the shadow of these beautiful hills at Mountainville just seems like a natural fit and I love being here! I believe in Mountainville's mission and have loved the great things the school has done for my own four children.

In my free time, I enjoy getting outdoors hiking, biking, and kayaking. I’m an avid reader and enjoy writing. I moonlight as a reporter for my local newspaper. I love getting lost in a story! Stories are an important way we connect with each other as the human family. I’m grateful for the chance I get as a Language Arts Teacher at Mountainville to not only share important stories with the students, but help them appreciate and tell their own stories.
